How it is calculated

mNAV is the share price divided by NAV per common share. NAV is the Bitcoin value minus what preferred holders are owed. The steps use your current inputs.

    Other target prices

    Limits and credit
    • No cash flows. Preferred dividends, interest, fees, operating costs and taxes are left out. All of them would lower NAV per share.
    • Simplified financing. Preferred is valued at par and raised in proportion to the Bitcoin bought. New common is sold at the multiple you chose, every time.
    • One price path. Bitcoin moves in a smooth curve from the start price to the ending price. A real path with swings would give different dilution.
    • Credit. The idea of asking what mNAV a price target needs comes from the Grain of Salt SF calculator. This page uses its own simplified model, so its numbers will not match theirs exactly.
